Alphas:
The Alphas are the most dominate and respected wolves of the pack. If these two Alphas or any other member are not given the respect that they deserve, the Alphas will demand it, and if it comes to fighting, so be it, for disrespect will not be tolerated. Alphas have the final say in all decisions, and it is their duty to do what is good for the pack, even in personal decisions. They usually decide what goes on at any given time in a pack: hunting, exploring, meetings, etc. These two are the most responsible and reliable wolves of the pack. Rank is unchallengeable.
Betas:
The Betas play a similar role as the Alphas. They're usually second in command, taking over when the alphas are not present. They have the same amount of respect as the Alphas, and they answer to no one but them. Rank is unchallengeable.
Gammas:
The Gammas play a similar role as the . They're usually third in command, taking over when the Betas (or the Alphas and Betas) are not present. They have the same amount of respect as both the ranks above it, and they answer to no one but them. Rank can be challenged.
Head Guardian:
The wolf in charge of all the guardians and receives information from the guardians about intruders and such. Reports to the Alphas.
Guardians:
They are usually the bigger, stronger, and more loyal wolves to the pack. Their job is to greet visitors, as well as chase them away if there seems to be a threat. They make sure the pack is well protected. Reports to the Head Guardian.

Hunters:[/size]
This is one of the most valuable positions as their job is to provide food for the pack, keeping it strong, healthy, and well fed. Reports to the Head Hunter.
Head Scout:
The wolf in charge of all the scouts and organizes all the patrols. Reports to the Alphas.
Scouts:
Another part of their job is they explore place to place and maintain friendships between old packs and new packs. Any changes should be reported to the Head Scout.
Pups/Apprentices:
Packs will often adopt pups that wander around. Some will be allowed to remain while others are not. Pups are not allowed on hunts until around 6 months of age and then only when accompanied by the pack's hunters or their parents.
Pack Members:
Not every wolf has a position. The Alphas take great care to choose the right positions according to the wolves strengths and weaknesses. As time goes on, the wolves actions will help the Alphas choose.
Elders:
Former wolves who have dedicated their lives to the pack, now retired.
Omegas:
The Omega of the pack is lowest ranking wolf, usually one that is either new to packlife or a wolf that has been lowered in rank due to wrong actions.
